Excellent post, Jon, thank you for it. My wife and I are vegetarian, and welcome this form of discussion in the Christian community. Even going without meat one day a week is tremendously life-giving as you mentioned – Ben (Not One Sparrow)

I like this! I don’t do Meatless *Mondays* but, out of habit, I have 2 or 3 meatless days a week. This choice has nothing to do with politics; it’s a matter of conscience.

Funny. This is the same stuff that the PETA crowd and Animal Liberation Front where peadaling around in the mid to late 80′s. Of course, it had nothing to do with God but was a vehicle for promoting their socialist agenda.
